DRAMATIC PLAYGROUND / FILM × GAME × SPACE

A human. A machine.
The same unknown world.

Stories you don't just watch. You enter them. Interactive films, explorable worlds and playable stories from a storytelling-first filmmaking studio.

01 / THE PREMISE

What if the audience could cross the frame?

The Playground is Studio Dramatic's narrative R&D theatre—a place where film becomes spatial, responsive and playable. Every experiment begins with a story question. Technology earns its place only when it changes what the audience can feel or do.

  1. A human and a machine face an unknown creature together
    THE QUESTION
    01

    Disturb the familiar.

Begin with one cinematic “what if?” that cannot be answered by a passive frame.

  2. A visitor approaches a glowing room inside an abandoned cinema
    THE PROTOTYPE
    02

    Make the feeling playable.

Build the smallest meaningful choice, threshold or movement—and test whether it changes the story.

  3. The stone towers and pathways of Prambanan temple complex
    THE WORLD
    03

    Give the idea a world.

Writing, film, spatial design, sound, 3D and AI gather around one authored experience.

  4. A traveller walks towards a luminous future city
    THE RELEASE
    04

    Release. Observe. Evolve.

Audience behaviour becomes the next page: refine what works, record what was learned and grow what deserves a future.

The Door That Remembered You

Your choices decide what waits beyond the frame. Choose a world, cross the threshold and discover your story instinct.Enter this story

Prambanan is an interpretive reconstruction. Architectural details are approximated, not surveyed.

03 / FIELD NOTE 001

What makes a choice feel dramatic?

THE PROVOCATION

Can two decisions reveal a viewer's story instinct?

The Door That Remembered You begins with one threshold, then opens into memory, shadow or possibility. The point is not to win. It is to notice what you choose when the story looks back.

THE BUILD

Three worlds. Six authored endings.

Each route is deliberately short: choose a world, make two consequential decisions and reach a distinct ending. Number keys and pointer controls keep the interaction immediate.

WHAT WE LEARNED WHILE BUILDING

Every choice must change meaning—not only direction.

A short interactive story needs consequence quickly. Persistence can invite a return without asking for an account, so discovered endings remain only on the visitor's device.

THE NEXT TEST

Let the world be heard as clearly as it is seen.

The next production step is an original sound layer with captions and independent controls. It will be released only when the audio is approved and accessibility is complete.

This narrative mechanic can grow into a branching campaign, entertainment IP sampler or event experience.

04 / FORMS OF PLAY

A story can become
many things.

01

Worlds to Enter

Walkable environments, cultural spaces and cinematic worlds that turn a reference into a place.

02

Stories That Respond

Branching films and narrative games where choices change perspective, consequence or ending.

03

Films That Transform

Scenes that shift genre, emotion, time or visual language while the central idea remains.

04

Living Products

Products placed inside interactive cinematic worlds built to reveal character, utility and desire.

05

Playable Campaigns

Web-native experiences that extend a launch, film or brand thought beyond passive viewing.

06

Narrative Prototypes

Focused experiments that test a story mechanic before it grows into a larger production or IP.

07 / HOW A WORLD BEGINS

Story first.
Then possibility.

  1. 01

    Find the dramatic question

What should the audience want, fear, discover or change?

  2. 02

    Prototype the interaction

We test the smallest playable moment before building the world around it.

  3. 03

    Craft the experience

Writing, film, design, sound, animation, 3D and AI work toward one emotional outcome.

  4. 04

    Release and learn

We observe how people move through the story and refine what deserves to grow.

08 / QUESTIONS

Before you
enter.

What is an interactive storyworld?

A narrative experience people can enter, explore or influence rather than only watch. It may live on the web, inside an event, across screens or within a physical space.

Can this become a campaign or entertainment property?

Yes. We can develop branching films, explorable brand worlds, narrative games and prototypes around a project's audience, platform and objective.

Does every experience use generative AI?

No. The story decides the method. A project may combine filmmaking, live action, animation, real-time 3D, interaction design, visual effects and generative AI.
